BVC began in 1960, when Bhagwanji Vallabhji Chinai set up a customs brokerage in the heart of Mumbai’s diamond and jewellery trade. He saw traders struggling to clear precious goods safely — and built India’s first organised customs brokerage for the diamond and jewellery industry.
